my buddy did a 2:13 in green conditions at VIR in a stock VN with just camber bolts and 200TW CR-S tires

In 2021, there was a VN with a JB4 and RE71R tires, the old set, and nothing else, that did a 2:11.218. You'll be surprised

That's actually really impressive.....A 2:11 is a very brisk lap.

do you ever notice a whine coming from the transmission with this fluid? switched over to synchromesh maybe 5k miles ago and noticed an interesting whine from the transmission within the last 1k miles ?

No, not that I've noticed. Do you have an upgraded torque mount?

rear motor mount? yes, i’ve got a PRL RMM installed, which i’ve heard exaggerates the trans whine. i was going to let it ride for a little bit since the track season is over and then change fluid to see if it helps.

I only ever noticed whine after installing a RMM.

I have the 27won RMM. Never noticed whine. Although I'd have to hear it over the rattles ? I'm ready to try another brand see if it's any softer while still maintaining some of the benefits.

We switched from 27WON to PRL for testing. Didn't notice whine from either, just less NVH from PRL, but also slightly more slop with a softer bushing
