How much are people seeing with the guard removed? I can’t imagine would be more than a few degrees

it’s negligible in my experience. i’ve done 7-8 track days on 90-100F ambient with data logs with it on and off and even with the entire thing removed and i dont’t think it really is significant

yes! it’s a good time and there is typically not a ton of traffic

I think he woulda need to remove the hole damn hood to get acceptable temps

I once ran a track weekend with no hood. It was the first weekend out after putting the turbo on. Cutting two holes in the bumper got me nowhere lol.

Gotta do what you gotta do! Track time is too expensive to go home over a little bit of heat.

What do we think? Send them? This is 9-10 hours in on sr11. Slight taper slight chipping on leading edge.

I flipped them and threw it back together. Back pads are toast. I may get another set of try something different. 8200 miles and 2 track weekends.
