It drives and sound OK still, I did another 1:46 lap after a cooling down and drove back to central florida by the end of the day.
It is to bad that log R somehow ended data logging... I want to see how high the engine rev to lol
Plug in a code reader, from my understanding it should show the over rev code (p0219) if it was a big enough over rev.

As long as they require a point by I'm good ? I think it would be nice watching more advanced drivers lines in real time too. Assuming they can follow the correct line ?
They are generally really good about point by's. You'll likely see 100 different lines.

If there is no CEL, would I still be able to use a code reader to it?

yeah, no CEL but will be in the ECU (and can't be cleared). Not all readers can read it afaik but I think Autels can.

Any noticable difference between OMP, Sparco, or Alpinestar gloves? Or just go with the less expensive option in a color I like?

I've got Alpinestars and....THEY ARE TOUCH SCREEN COMPATIBLE !!!!!!!!!!!

Hit the stupid nanny button on the steering wheel mid race, then fail to hit the back button, NO PROBLEM! Annnnnd I can start my Catalyst!

Focus on being smooth rather than being fast. Don't want to see you wreck or destroy your car.
Listen to what he's saying. No need to learn the way that I had to.

Another thing to force yourself to do is to RELAX. If you do a self-check during your laps, you might find that you're tense. Ease up in situations like that. When you relax you tend to look further ahead, which provides your brain with more information, and you will naturally lap faster.

Yes gotta have touchscreen compatible. I figured that was a given nowadays ? I like the red. Red = race car. The only color faster is yellow.

I got in trouble with yellow. Even had yellow shoes on that day. I was in outer space....up until I landed.

This is what I'm trying to focus on. Smooth single applications of throttle and brake. And trying not to stab at either.

Master the brakes, and you master the lap!

Obviously there are several more factors, like throttle input, smoothness, and line, but brake application on a FWD sets us apart from the RWD guys!

Corner 3 at VIR can be particularly touchy with the brakes since it's ideal to brake in an arc instead of a straight line. If you do it properly you carry a lot of corner speed. Do it wrong and you spin out with no available room to save the car.

Being smooth with your inputs is the name of the game. You're also right about braking, these cars respond so well to trail-braking. You can rotate the car into the corner when you get it right.

Exhibit A (a bit exaggerated though)
