Supposed idle issues with aftermarket intake airbox?

I thought the same. I tried a new gasket and still had a off idle. Didn't make sense. It's not like PRL is super complicated either. It's a good intake. My car just didn't like it lol

Did you use the OEM Phillips MAF screws or the provided 3mm hex screws when you had the PRL HVI?

Ahh okay. I had the same idle issue using the OEM screws. Switched to shorter screws and the idle issue went away. I thought it might have been a small leak at the MAF since the longer screws were too long to screw in all the way
