Looks good! I have the Spoon Stiff Plate waiting to be installed on my FL1, really wish I had access to a lift or had a set of Quickjacks to make it more easier to install.

I watched the video last night and the Cusco bar looks much more robust, although with less touch-points. Do you think that the nature of the connecting points makes a stronger brace than the Cusco brace?

Definitely easier if you have access to a lift for the install.

The Spoon stiff plate is one of the best suspension mods I’ve done on my FL5.

How so and what have you done so far suspension wise?

I haven’t done much yet, only the following-

Spoon springs
Spoon rigid collars (f/r)
Spoon stiff plate
Spoon sway bars (f/r)
Spoon front endlinks
Cusco lower braces (f/r)
Origin titanium front bar

I had the setup above which felt good but recently added the Stiff plate and it feels better tied in on the front and just has a great feel. I’m getting ready to install Spoon coilovers and rear SPC camber arms, so I’m looking forward to further improvements with the new setup. I have a great road here to test the handling on.

I can only go off of pics but is the spoon plate locking the chassis to the subframe some?

It is much more substantial when compared to the oem piece and it does tie that whole area in much better.

Damn that’s dope! Should make for minimal flex for sure! It’s just that price, spoon stuff is so much 😂

Makes me glad I bought my Stiff Plate when it first came out, well before all the tariff BS and custom fees.

Great mod I have one installed also, but when you pair this stiffening plate with the rigid collars and springs... the car transforms and responds to steering input way better.

I'm wondering the same thing, if the same effect(or at least get close enough to not make much of a difference) can be had from the Cusco brace without the extra spend of the stiff plate then the Cusco or Ultra racing brace will make more sense
