Finally got around to installing the project aero front lip and Alplus aero guards. The lip was installed with the bumper on. Tight fit for larger arms such as mine but not the worst. Overall I really like the oem plus look. I have some pics of the gaps to the front bumper. Overall a tight fit and feels super sturdy. No concerns on mounting.

The Alplus aero guards were exactly what I wanted. Simple and barely noticeable. Quick 15 min install for both. Hopefully should stop the rocks and debris getting all in the side skirt.
Is there a secret US distributor or is it just Australia? I want it fast!!! haha

It actually came through here (Canada) pretty quickly, just over a week. I haven't installed it yet as I'm deciding whether to paint body colour or keep as is.

It came pretty quick. I think it was about 2 weeks to FL. Check. FB marketplace, as soon I got mine someone local was selling a new one they never installed.

Mine got stuck in Customs in Kentucky with UPS and took over a month. YMMV.

Mine took about 3 weeks. Assuming they had to make it first, because once it shipped, it was at my door in just a few days.

I do really like the lip tho. Many of them are way too flashy for me, and this one adds just enough to make the front end look aggressive.

Can anyone point out what clips/bolts need to be removed in order to access the backside of the bumper to perform the install w/o bumper removal? Their instructions are a bit lacking and I'd prefer not having to guess what all needs removed only to make the install worse than it needs to be. Thanks!

There’s a bunch. Once you mock up the lip, it will be apparent which ones. That being said, if you have hands larger than small child’s, I highly recommend taking the bumper off. The scrapes, bruises, and overall frustration of trying to squeeze my hands/arms in between plastic panels was not fun. The instructions also don’t really tell you that you need to secure nuts blindly on the backside to keep their hardware from spinning.

Thanks for the insight! Maybe I'll have to reconsider pulling the bumper but I was hoping to avoid that. As far as what hardware needs removed from the plastic panels to provide access if I decide not to remove the bumper, can you give me an idea which bolts/clips need removed?

I believe I removed all of these. They were easy to remove and easy to put back in place, so it made sense to try and get as much access as I could.

Looks like you’re using a lift, which makes it a bit easier. Like others have said though, if you’re patient and have the proper tools, it’s best to remove the bumper. From what I’ve seen some people have had the lip start to sag in the middle when they don’t remove the bumper when installing. Someone scratched my bumper so the shop reinstalled the lip with the bumper off and I swear the lip looked more flush after.

I just used a stock photo for reference. I did mine on ramps. I can see why people could have sagging if they don’t get those bolts tight, and it took a lot of curse words to keep the nuts from spinning with the bolts. I have Kermit the Frog arms too.

Also, word to the wise, if you decide to do the install with the bumper on, get a helper.

Yes definitely get a helping hand! The scars and war stories are worth it in the end 😂

Awesome, thank you so much! I figured it was probably most of these.

I’ve had this lip for a few months and have scraped it a few times. I can confirm they’re designed to take a beating. All the scraping happens underneath so you can’t see any of the scratches anyway. Hasn’t gotten loose at all, too.
