Where’s the Aero?

The GReddy carbon fiber lip on this car is intriguing. I can't seem to find anything in the catalogs or online. I sent a note to them inquiring, we'll see if they respond.

You will not because that isn't a Greddy/Trust front lip. That front lip is made by Axis parts Japan. Greddy has no plans to make any aero parts for the FL5 at this time. They are focused on performance development for their Super Taikyu series FL5. I emailed them last year asking if they have any plans to do a Gracer front lip like they used to back in the day.

Not a very popular wing around these parts, but it is built to OEM standards, so there's no doubt it will work and is built exceptionally well. My issue with it is the overall look, something about it clashes with the FL5 body making it look out of place if the rest of the car doesn't have aggressive aero additions.

Question, what other aero additions do you plan on doing in conjunction with this wing? This wing creates an aero imbalance if other aero compoonenets aren't added.

Yeah, it's a bit much. Middle vents look alright, but the side vents are whack, way too many

The quest is function/quality over eye appeal for my build with the intent of track focused. All mods thus far have been in regards to quest. I was more interested in seeing up close photos, understanding the materials used and overall effectiveness from other users that may have experienced/owned it. It is very expensive, and I was just checking to see if it is really good at what its designed to do, or if it just inflated because of its Italian pedigree. Thanks.

It looks like a euro fighter typhoon with those canards. Hard pass. The radar cross section on that type r must be as large as an apartment building.

someone surely can put the canards in the bumper like what Acura did with the type s!

It is a factory race item so it is priced accordingly for spare parts of a TCR chassis as well as design to be used as part of the larger package of TCR panels not because of its "Italian pedigree"

117 Racing carbon front lip and GT Wing. I really appreciate that they have a fairly original design and not just copy some of the JDM stuff.
