Installed the lip over the weekend by removing the bumper. Definitely looked like it would have been a real chore to do with the bumper in place. I did break one of the clips under the headlights as those were more difficult to release than I had expected, but doesn't seem to be affecting...
Thanks for the insight! Maybe I'll have to reconsider pulling the bumper but I was hoping to avoid that. As far as what hardware needs removed from the plastic panels to provide access if I decide not to remove the bumper, can you give me an idea which bolts/clips need removed?
Can anyone point out what clips/bolts need to be removed in order to access the backside of the bumper to perform the install w/o bumper removal? Their instructions are a bit lacking and I'd prefer not having to guess what all needs removed only to make the install worse than it needs to be...
Finally got around to installing the Acuity shift linkage bushings that I had removed from my 10th gen Si. Was able to install them without removing the charge piping. Just don't be ham-fisted and yank the cables all over the place when working with them. There is definitely a noticeable...
Just installed a rear camera myself and ran into the same problem. Was nowhere close to being able to tuck the USB cable in there. Decided just to route it along the window using some stick on clips that were included. I believe Blackvue uses a coaxial cable instead of USB, which is likely...
Had the 27won exhaust on my 10th Gen Si and the quality was fantastic. Not using slip fittings makes install so m
Having had a 27won exhaust on my 10th Gen Si and loving how easy the bolt on flanges make installation and keep things from shifting around over time, I won't go back to slip fit...
Disabling the native nav actually ends up breaking GPS in Android Auto. Figured that out the hard way and then read about others seeing the same. AA has been very reliable for me so far.
Got the mirror installed over the weekend along with running the wiring for the front/rear dash cams. The frameless mirror looks so much better than the cheapo factory unit and I'm so glad to have homelink back. The install is not bad at all. Even pulling the a-pillar and dealing with that...
