The issue is the rocks hitting the finish breaking the paint structure time for ppf......what other issues did u have?lololololol.Anyone else have this issue?? Doesn't look too good.. The small chip make the paint look incredibly thin.
Sorry about making it a short, youtube always does that.. The end shows the paint issue better.
How would rocks hit the finish when the car comes with protective film all over it from the factory? You’re clowning. The issue is the rocks hitting the finish breaking the paint structure time for ppf......what other issues did u have?lololololol.
That has been my experience as well with other manufacturers. BMW, Honda, Toyota, Tesla, Volvo, and others have had less than ideal paint at delivery. I will say PEC ATL did a great job prepping the Porsche I picked up earlier this year. Not sure what their prep entails but the paint looked very good. It made life easy for the detailer when it came to paint correction and ceramic coating. The CTR paint was the worst I've experienced on a new car by a large margin. Outside of the scratches, swirls, and other imperfections, the amount of fallout and iron on the car was shocking to see.Yeah, my detailer has told me that even brand new high end Porsches will come in with swirl marks and grime embedded in the finish. Some dealers are better than others at cleaning things up before delivery to the customer, but the vast majority of the time they just take the plastic protection off (though they won’t get all the adhesive off), give the car a bath and an amateur wax/polish job and that’s all ; The bare minimum to get the car sold.
I can't say for boost blue but the championship white paint is one of the best paint jobs to have come out of japan I've ever seen - its euro level of flatness. The resistance to paint chipping on the other hand....Kept working on it, it's coming out. These just have a lot of orange peel my god lol.
