Yup. Been doing that in the Wrangler for the last 4 years or so. Always wanted to get the computer reset for speed, but never got around to it.I would simply take a mental note of the additional 5% increase in speed over what is displayed on the speedometer. That 5% difference also reduces mileage registered on the odometer.
That's a Wrangler, though... an all terrain low speed crawler. It struggles at 75 MPH.
Perfect speed readout is not priority there.
In my Type R *Touring Edition*, however, I would like to have a fairly accurate speedometer.
Wondering if anyone here has experience with resetting the speedo or ECU for larger-than-OEM tire diameter.
