Those come in the 19x9.5 +45. I’ve really wanted to see how they look on a FL5 but can’t find any pics of them installed.

I do think in the 18s, they will look awkward on the FL5. The lip and spoke design will make them look smaller than they are.
They only come in 18x9.5 with the 5/114 and 5/100 stud pattern. With the 5/120 stud pattern they have 18x8.5 18x9 and 18x10 no in between which is weird. I'm from Australia, and went to my local performance/customizing workshop who deals specifically for the fk8/fl5 and they have a FL5 running Advan GT Beyond wheels in 18/10 +32 with no issues after putting -3.5 camber in the front and -2.8 in the rear. They told me I'd be able to get the PF06 in the 18/10 +28 to work but will be very aggressive but by adding -3 to -3.2 in the rear.

I'll post pics through of the 5L5 and their FK8 running 18/10 +32

Does anyone have pictures of a 18 x 10.5 et47 on a 275 35 tire with eibach Sportline springs?

Recommendations for a tire with flat/square sidewalls for 18x10 +40 TE’s? Hoping for something that is as flush as possible with both the wheel lip and the front fender. I haven’t done any suspension mods yet but maybe will go RSR actives soon.

Considering the PS4S in 285/35/18 but perhaps that would poke out too much with its rim guard? I’m fine with 200-300TW if it means I can get a really flush look 🙏

Maybe the Falken RT615K in 275/35/18?

A 275 maybe but a 285 will require a camber kit for sure…

Rt660 because the 615 is known as the death tire in wet conditions

TE37 45 offset. Lost two OEM centre caps during track day (fronts) . Rims heated off & the caps literally popped off. Anyone else have this issue

Hello, first time ordering aftermarket wheels. I have a 2025 civic Type R. I really love these and I'm probably ordering them, the Rays Versus VT125S in super dark gunmetal. They look great, especially on the championship white.

A few Questions; 1. Do I need hubcentric rings? If so, which ones do I need? I plan on running a 275/35/18 tire and wheel size of 18x9.5 +45. 2. Any pro's/con's vs 275 or 265 tire? I think I will go with a 275 just for a little better traction, but I also assume it will make the tire look a tad bit wider when viewing from the back. Anything I am missing for comparing? I guess I'm not understanding why you would go with 265 if a 275 fits fine and also gives better handling? 3. I spoke to someone on your site and they recommended the lug nuts M14x1.5, but there are so many different kinds to chose from, I am confused which ones I need, does it matter? I have the Rays L42 dura-nut added to my cart, Just looking for a standard lugnut (nothing special) that will fit with ease of doing tire rotations etc. 4. Again, this being my first time ever buying aftermarket wheels so I appologize for the barrage of questions, but I assume when you buy aftermarket wheels they are automatically lighter and should offer better performance than stock? Any additional guidance or info I should know prior to placing an order is appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Also thanks for making this thread, it has been very helpful.
Fellow after-market wheel newbie here. Looking for a dedicated track 18x9.5 +45 set, and aiming to wrap them in 275/35 R18 Potenza RE71RS tires. Found these questions from @GoSailin very useful.
Any advice from the more seasoned wheel connoisseurs? In my case this set would be mostly for track use, so specially interested in question #2.
Thanks!

Took a bit of risk with this setup, as I couldn't find anyone running the same suspension. Thes are RSR springs, with 18x9.5+38 and 275/35 tire.

The RSR's sit lower than sportlines or swifts, so was concerned about potentially rubbing particularly in the rear. Ended up with zero rubbing. Fitment is basically perfect, stock alignmnet pin is still in, and the ride quality is drastically better on 18's. I'm actually left wondering if my oem wheels were overinflated as the ride is night and day.

If I were to run 18x9.5 +35 on H&R springs and NOT pull pins…would the poke be too much? Trying to find this exact setup before I drop 4k on wheels lol

No rubbing with H&R Springs, and briefly this set was installed on our second tester FL5 with Swift Springs. Also no rub - thoroughly tested with passengers, bumps, full-lock turns etc.

what else is done on this car besides sprins? Pulled pins, ball joints, etc?

Pulled pins for camber, but it wasn't necessary for clearance. Factory ball-joints.

It's a rounded shoulder UHP All-Season tire so there is more room than the squared shoulder 200TW offerings. We've sold over a dozen sets in this spec - I haven't collected data from customers that details what tire brand and model, size, and suspension mods they have.

Too much for what? Too much that it would rub or too much aesthetically? That fitment is the same as an 18x10 +40 and H&R springs have a mild drop. I didn't rub on God Spec and my H&R's when I had them.

just aesthetically. I saw a post earlier in this thread after reading back through where a guy seemed to have lot of poke, but the more searching I do the more this spec is the norm. As you said its the same outside fitment as the GS, and the 10.5 +47. I assume if I just have the pins pulled ill be fine.

thanks
