Id wage that probably 80% of the people with the spoon wing never been to a track in their lives lol
But also its ok, if people like it and can afford it, and that means they will keep making cool stuff. I love the spoon crane wing, one of my favorites. Voltex is slightly cheaper, also amazing product and they all work for what they been designed for.

On some of the products though I do think higher price makes sense, some of these parts are such small production and testing so they will have to charge more. And maybe wing does fit in this too, I dunno but I still think its artificial scarcity
Exactly! I don’t have a problem with that either, but the price tag can be outrageous sometimes. It does make sense since they’re small-production parts. The other thing is that when the price is so high, and some of the parts are just self-tapping screws and double-sided tape, it feels a bit wild.

Still, kudos for making more parts available for our humble, plebeian eyes 😂. The artificial inflation, though, definitely doesn’t help!

It was easy to install the lip? How the lip mounts you need drill holes to mount it into the bumper? At this point I really give up too on trying to get something that works with OEM location mounts because the aren’t too many like that and the current theme or wand a lot for it and have you wait endless years.
Slightly difficult.. only because I was by myself lol. But you only need to drill into the OEM bumper, attach the lip with the included bolts, then simply install your FRP or Carbon fiber splitter with the remaining bolts.

How much time did you wait for it? How did you get it?
I got it from Blackhawk, luckily before the tariffs kicked in. Waited about 3 months from order to front door. At the time it was a made to order piece. Not sure if that is still the case. I see

Is starting to carry Max Orido FL5 parts finally so that may be an easier, less wait time option

I’m running the OEM + Direct fit to perfection! Spendy but worth every penny imo.

That one looks amazing, but I feel that if I install other carbon bits, the red weave needs to match. Also, mine is Boost Blue. In the end, I’ll go that route before it gets discontinued! Does it get in the way of the rear view?

Thank you ! Actually I felt the same way at first I wanted everything to match but got more relaxed as time went on. Not really planning any more CF out side anyway. But the red flash is very subtle and more apparent in bright direct sunlight “ but hey it matches the red calipers😆” . I ended up getting a PRL high gloss CF steering wheel for the interior and Matt cf inlay on the council lol so I’m all over the map but it actually looks really good. I honestly haven’t noticed any less visibility out the rear window but then again I replaced the stock Wing less then 30 days of buying my car lol. But didn’t notice it when I made the switch but wasn’t looking for it either .
IMO I think the wing would look awesome on the boost blue 👍🏻👊🏻

Thank you for the input. I will definitely look into it and see what I end up doing. I’m planning to add that modification to the car along with a subtle front lip. I’m also considering a drop on H&R springs and some 19x9.5 wheels with offsets between +55 and +45, though I haven’t decided yet, paired with all-season tires. That’s all I have planned for the exterior.

For the interior, I’m going to get the leather steering wheel that I believe Unity Performance sells, along with the Likewise red shift knob. The rest of the upgrades include a Hybrid Racing catback, a drop-in filter, and a tune by Jester. I daily drive mine, and after a year and a half, it’s sitting at 30k miles—I enjoy it a lot.

Great mods planned !
Had mine for a year and a half wasn’t going to mod it and keep it stock except for the wing but the mods are trickling in lol. Only 4200 miles rain free garage queen but enjoying every mile down the coast .
My modest Mod list
OEM+ CF Wing
Spoon Springs
PRL HVI
Remark SS Exhaust
PRL CF Steering wheel
CF inlay around shifter
20% Ceramic tint all around 45% windshield
Carpet diaper 😆 Tuxmat all around
I think that’s it 🤔 lol
Oh yeah back on topic and some Bonoss Spacers
15mm & 20mm

That’s always the plan as car guys. We’re gone to keep everything stock 😂 and then we end up in the same circle. It’s an abusive relationship with the hobby 😂.

Battlecraft Parts is the US distributor for Exceed Japan, though good luck with wait times as EJ is not a huge production shop. Don’t forget the additional fees too since it ships straight from Japan, I still paid a fee even before the tariffs.

You can purchase a double FRP or FRP top/Carbon Fiber splitter bottom from them (which is what I currently have). You can also purchase an exclusive double carbon lip, but that is a special order from a separate contact.

That’s an Exceed front lip and splitter combo. There’s a user that has one for sale right now
Yeah it’s out in Cali (as most of these are) and I don’t think delivery was an option.

What is that contact? Out of curiosity. I like the FRP top cause I love how it’s body colored with a bottom CF.
