Hey all,

Sorry got tied up with work and have been MIA.

I would like to deliver with my promise of offering up the ring, and additionally, I was able to acquire the OEM Bose subwoofer speaker adapter plugs to make my own oem harness to offer a plug and play upgrade.

I havent read through all the comments but my beta setup has been awesome the past few months with the simple kicker sub upgrade using my ring. Great low-end increase (which is what I wanted) with ease.

Count me in.

I'd probably just look elsewhere. I found these on Amazon that may work.

8" Subwoofer Speaker Spacers

I wanted more subwoofer bass. Given what was available, which was $399 out of my price range, I decided to make my own 8" subwoofer speaker ring spacer to accommodate a subwoofer that I wanted.

As a result, see the pictures below. Mission accomplished.

Knowing there is others like me, I would like to offer this to others and wanted to gather an interest list so I can make this happen. I'm no engineer or sales/marketing expert. Just want to break even and share this efficient design. Please email me ([email protected]) or reply with your interest here.

My goal is to get these out in a month. I will close the initial order list in two weeks.

Looking to revive a pretty much dead thread, didn't really wanna hijack it but the OP hasn't responded in months and this is where majority of the interested parties have gathered.

Is anyone in this thread still interested in getting the subwoofer adapter ring. A colleague of mine has a 3D printer that he doesn't mind putting through the paces to print a few of these if there is enough interest.

I've already got one in hand and will install it soon.

I don't know how much of a difference it really makes, never A/B tested this. But it certainly cleans up the install and gives a smooth purchase for the new sub.

I'd be happy to print/ship rings for a few bucks to cover materials/shipping. Let me know
