Does anyone know if the M&M front pillow upper mounts work with the OEM dampers?

The description says " The diameter of the shaft is 12φ and 1.25 pitch, so it can be installed on other companies' dampers."

I just don't know what the OEM shaft diameter and thread pitch are.

Give us updates when it’s on the car and how the adjustability works out. I’m interested in getting this since I’d like to get around -2.5 camber in the front but have no interest in changing the springs or shocks.
If you are just looking for -2.5 front camber, have you looked at something like the Hardrace lower camber adjusters? I installed them on my car and got exactly -2.5 degrees front camber with the "middle" insert plate and pulling the shock tower pins. Not as fine tunable or as direct feeling as I suspect the upper mounts to feel, but also doesn't increase NHV like all pillow upper mounts/camber plates I have used in the past.

I am not entirely sure since I haven't removed the front struts yet on the FL5 but I would say probably slightly easier to install the hardrace lowers. You do have to remove the brake caliper, rotor, and dust shield to give better access to some of the bolts.

My guess is that the work needed to get to the lower mount is about the same as removing the front strut, you just don't have the extra time needed to compress/remove the spring to swap out the top hat.

Yeah, labor costs are probably somewhat equal. You have more adjustability with the top hats IMO but it comes at the tradeoff of NHV.

Pulling the strut pins does give some wiggle room to fine tune the camber a few tenths of a degree in either direction, so the lower mounts aren't at a huge disadvantage as far as adjustment goes. You can theoretically get up to -3.5 degrees max camber with the lower mounts, FYI. My alignment guy barely had to adjust anything to get the camber to -2.5 after I installed the lower mounts.

Both are good options, just depends on your end goals.

No problem. The top hats have metal spherical bearings, that is where the extra NHV comes from. In my past experience with similar top hats, the NHV can range from not much at all to a moderate increase. Hard to really gauge since NHV is extremely subjection. On the plus side, top hats like that usually translates a bit more suspension feel through the steering wheel.

Just a FYI, Ballade Sports has offered OE shock compatible adjustable camber plates for a few years. Feedback from those using them on the FK8 platform were that the OE spring hit the shock tower almost immediately, offered very little negative adjustability.

Interested to see if this actually allows camber adjustments. Like said, the Ballade ones don't really do anything, and these are similar

The ball joints take about 1 hour to install at each corner.
With hard race and camber pin pull out should be about -3.2 degrees.
Don't really see a point of a street car running more than-3 and that's plenty of camber to have some fun.
