So I was looking at the RV6 turbo, but I decided that I'm going to stick with 20Won. Below is my current mods and the ones I will install with the turbo upgrade. I dont Want to have a lot of turbo lag, but I also know that the Kuro Plus is definitely making a lot more power up top than the Kuro.

Which would you go with based on these mods? I do not care for meth or e85 I want a good 93 tune. I do spirited driving in the twisties and city driving with some backroads and highway but I want great top end. Current setup is much better than stock.

Current Mods:
PRL inlet pipe
PRL intake
PRL Intercooler
PRL chargepipe
PRL intercooler piping
Tomei titanium exhaust
RV6 Front pipe
Wunderladen RMM 75A

Mods with the Turbo:
Kuro+ or Kuro?
Hondata 1530cc injectors
Full race HPFP
Upgraded low pressure pump (if needed)
93 octane tune
TSP High efficiency downpipe
turbo and downpipe blanket

If you aren't doing ethanol the Kuro is the right choice. They will make roughly the same power on 93 octane (you're running out of fuel before you run out of turbo) but the plus will have later spool.

If you do not plan to run E then stick to the regular Kuro, the Kuro+ plus shines when E is in the mix otherwise it reallly won't make that much more than the regular Kuro.

Do I need low pressure pump or injectors for kuro or just hpfp? I figured maybe future proof It with injectors if I ever go E or bigger turbo but was curious if it was needed for Kuro.

Only if you want to do E too really. Big expense though. I have all of it and a MHI stage 2 to install eventually.

No need fo LPFP, injectors are highly recommended though, mainly for future-proofing.

I'm been running the original Kuro on my own Type R for a few years. The one benefit for putting in the Kuro+ is if you ever wanted more power in the future, you can simply retune and boom, it's there.

If you were sticking to the stock fuel system components, then the normal Kuro is the obvious choice.

Where i was stuck trying to decide was :

Kuro vs kuro+ on 93 with injectors and hpfp?
