I already had my eyes on it was just waiting on the product release. The only option before was to just do a separate ethanol tune but this will make flexibility a lot greater.

Bought the flex fuel kit!
One piece of advice though is that it will work on a stock fuel system but it will be limited in boost. Best bet is to upgrade the fuel system to take full advantage of this. 400whp can be expected out of a stock turbo with about e30.

Yes the fuel line will help a bit. I think upgraded pump with fuel line mod and the flex fuel or a separate e30 tune will yield really good power.

I heard the Hondata Flex Fuel kit went up for sale in error and the listings have all been pulled. I’d like to know what the story is, especially considering it was listed on Hondata‘s site(along with TSP and Phearable - where I bought one).

Had the opportunity today to hit the dyno on a customer’s car. Made some good numbers but it had more in it. We struggled with severe heat soak and power was down everywhere and we could not get it to cool due to poor ventilation on the dyno.

FBO and MHI stage 2, we did a test on the dyno spraying some water on the intercooler since IAT’s were over 130’s. And just by dropping 10 degrees on the intercooler it picked up 10 whp. Intercooler temps were over 100 degrees.

If we could get temps to the 80’s post intercooler it would have made at least 440whp on the conservative side. No heroics either 28psi of boost and no crazy timing either.

Fantastic work Jester.

Are we universally in agreement that the MHI turbo with fuel line mod (stock HPFP and injectors) is a worthwhile gain over the stock turbo on a circuit/track car application?
