Nitrons are squeaking right rear. This is apparently a known problem. Nitron recommends using silicone spray to prevent squeaks.

I got custom spring rates: 10k front, 12k rear. It's definitely more track-focused, and I would not recommend these spring rates for a daily driver. If I had to choose a more daily plus light track, I would do 10k all around or 8k front and 10k rear.

Yea lol the S2000 is definitely not forgiving. Rewards smooth inputs or as you say it may try to kill you. The CTR is so much more relaxing to drive.

Nitron's started squeaking (sounds like rear right top hat), I was told to use silicone spray. It did help, but it's not fully gone.

3 track days on them (Streets of Willow, Buttonwillow, and Spring Mountain), beyond the squeaking, no complaints.

I've done Buttonwillow CW13 twice, the difference being suspension, experience, scrub tires and weather:
Aug 25' with RSR Best iactive (2:03.17) - First time at Buttonwillow
Dec 25' with Nitrons (1:59.79) - Second time at Buttonwillow (old RE-71 tires down to wearbar, colder weather).
I'd say the majority of the improvement came from added experience.

I would not recommend custom spring rates (10k front - 12k rear) for daily driving. You can't tuck the tire in the rears with Nitron. They max out (lowest) about a finger gap in the rears. Build quality is excellent compared to KW, Tein, and RSR (from my experience). As far as ride quality, Dustin Williams posted (<18:10 mark) about the R3's, and although these are R1's, he explained them well with similar experiences.

I personally would not get them if there is no track/auto cross in the future.
