How to remove fender tabs?

Had this exact problem when installing my megachip mudguards (luckily they give replacement pins lol).

One of the clips snapped in half and fell into the fender vent area, it's pretty benign and I can't hear it since it has very little room (if any to move around). Does anyone have experience getting into the vent area? I pryed back the fender liner a little and couldn't see a way to access it, but I didn't pull any clips to access. I'm honestly just thinking of leaving it as is...

I actually bought these pliers recently, you can get them from your dealer too, but they might cost a little more. Have had no issues with removing any clips and tabs.

So I ended up throwing the car on the lift and pulling out the broken pin, actually much easier than I expected.

Just peel back the fender liner a little after removing the 3 screws and the 2 clips, then pick out the broken price from the exposed edges.
