  1. Something not being talked about much

No. The revs drop at different speeds depending on how you manipulate the pedal. I realized this when I released the pedal too quickly by mistake, but the ajift was smooth as butter. Now I can replicate the shift every time.
  2. Something not being talked about much

Experiment with it lol. Transmission isn't going to blow up.
  3. Something not being talked about much

I noticed something funny about rev hang. I've noticed it before I tuned it, so its not the tune. If you lift off the foot quickly, but not dumping it, rev drops quickly compared to when you're slowly lifting the foot off the clutch. Its hard to explain it in words, but its like, im "bouncing"...
  4. Something not being talked about much

I dont mind it at all for daily driving. I always short shift first gear anyway
  5. Something not being talked about much

Why is the 11th gen si so slow? Takes 2 shifts to 60. Stock tires are doo doo. Boost doesnt build so quickly after shifting. Factory tune is just too safe. I haven't even bothered timing the car after reflash, until I throw on some better tires. My 10th gen didnt really see gains until I got new...
  6. Does Map 1 on the Phearable 1.5R tune offer a meaningful difference over stock?

Been running 1.5r in map1 mostly because I dont leave my ktuner 2.0 plugged in, and keep it in map1 for morning commute when the engine is still cold. It's still a huge improvement over stock. Increased torque is very noticeable, and it just feels better to drive. As with my 10ty gen, engine...
  7. Grinding Noises After Replacing Clutch

Which tune are you running, and how did you induce slipping? I currently run phearable 1.5r mostly on map 1 and 2.
  8. Chopsuey’s 2025 Civic Si Build Thread

Honda trimmed so much fat, there's really not much left, except the boat anchor wheels and maybe lighter battery, which i find not all that worthwhile. Catted downpipe will shed about 10 pounds, but prl intercooler will add 12 pounds right back. Prl Intake/intercooler resonator delete yielded 3...
  9. Catastrophic oil leak - I am freaking out

How about, use what you want to use? What's the point of trying to convince people? Nobodys trying to have real discussion on these forums. Its always a shit show.
  10. 2026 Tokyo Auto Salon Honda Civic eHEV RS Prototype

This may be a sign that ICE si will be gone soon.
  11. Axion Industries J swap build

Would love that j motor in a sedan platform. Im going to keep the l15 in my si tho.
  12. Headlight Adjustment?

Problem is these led headlights are not self leveling like xenon headlamps. I get flashed when im on a slight incline driving toward other cars.
  13. Engine Sounds Terrible in Sport Mode

Lol how long have you had the si? I kinda dont mind the fake sound.
  14. Knock Control After WOT Pull?

I read an interview or article that when 10th gens were being introduced, honda japan pushed for lower power levels, but honda usa wanted what we got. So im guessing for 11th gen, they went down to the lower power/higher reliability route. I put over 100k miles tuned on 10th gen, and im...
  15. Knock Control After WOT Pull?

Normal for factory calibration. Im finding that honda went way too conservative with the 11th gen. L15ca should be more robust than l15b7, but they made the software more restrictive than 10th gen. Im tuned now and its so much more enjoyable to drive the si now.
  16. Is my clutch going at 12k miles? 2026 Si

    Should be warranty no brainer.
  17. Favorite MTF? - Amsoil, Redine, Motul, Torco, Honda, etc.

Changed the mtf with honda fluid twice, and its buttery. There was alot of glitter from breaking in.
  18. How to remove fender tabs?

I love this tool. Worth every penny. Taking the bumper or undertray off in a breeze.
  19. 2026 FL5 Speculation Thread

Car and driver published a review for 2026 type r msrp 48k.
  20. Honda civic 1.5t gen 11 Which oil should I use, 0w20 or 5w30?

When i changed back to 0w20, engine was raspy and rattly compared to 5w30. It wasn't quiet at all. Have you tried 5w30? Between 0w20 and 0w30, cold temp viscosity are supposed to be the same until you get up to temp right? And I only used 5w30 during summer, so Im not worried about it. Sure, im...
