What do your KC numbers look like after driving above 5k RPM?

I did a single 6200 rpm, WOT pull last night and my KC was .72 afterwards. I always run 93. Usually it hovers around .49-.53 in normal driving.

What do your KC numbers look like?

Been reading on civicx about it but the 10th gen Si's don't have artificial knock control rise like the 11th gens.

Tuned or not? If not, that is normal for the Si.

Normal for factory calibration. Im finding that honda went way too conservative with the 11th gen. L15ca should be more robust than l15b7, but they made the software more restrictive than 10th gen. Im tuned now and its so much more enjoyable to drive the si now.

well, i imagine they tuned it for people to abuse the crap out of it. It would be interesting to know how high knock control goes doing a couple laps at the track above 5k RPM. If a single pull sends it to .65-.75 does it go above 1.0? There's a lot of datalogs on civicx, but the 10th gen Si's didn't have the artificial knock control rise.

maybe they were more conservative on the 11th gens to mitigate head lift/head gasket failures.

wish we knew more about Honda's artificial knock control parameters. like is it really knocking with 93? Or is it all artificial rise?

i really haven't noticed much reduced power when knock control goes up. But, i really don't drive it that hard very often.

I read an interview or article that when 10th gens were being introduced, honda japan pushed for lower power levels, but honda usa wanted what we got. So im guessing for 11th gen, they went down to the lower power/higher reliability route. I put over 100k miles tuned on 10th gen, and im expecting the same for my 11th gen.
