Yeah, your only recourse that I can see is to get an aftermarket TPMS kit. Many of them look kind of clunky, but some are much better than others. I’d stay away from the ones that rely on the valve cap to relay pressures since they use the cap to hold pressure vs the valve itself ; Seems really unreliable to me.

Sorry to bump an older thread but I just discovered the CTR does not display tire pressure like the ITS. What are you guys using as far as a manual tire guage to check your tires once/twice a month ?

I have an electric tire inflator that tells me what the tire pressure is. I also have a separate digital gauge too…I think it’s AstroAI brand. Works well and seems accurate enough for our application.

Not the exact one as I have, but I have a similar straight air chuck with a gauge that I use with my air compressor.

Too many
Many of the digital gauges are wildly inaccurate, so make sure you have a way to check the gauge when you first get it, to make sure it's trustworthy. I got one of these last year and it's been good so far:

Yeah I read a review of several air gauges which included a couple of analog gauges. I don’t recall any of the gauges being wildly off, but there was certainly a range of variability between each brand and type of gauge. IIRC, the worst one was ~3 psi off. The best was an analog gauge ; It was the most expensive in the test, by far. In general the digital gauges were accurate within ~1 psi (from memory). That’s pretty good, unless you’re a professional race car driver. Anecdotally, the gauge in my powered/automatic air pump appears to be at least as accurate as the standalone gauge ; Both which appear to be accurate within 1 psi per our Acura’s TPMS too. Good enough for me and likely most folks! But yeah, do your research and try to find a reasonable way to test accuracy if possible. 🙂
