Hit a deer, want to upgrade bumper to Type R

The other day a deer attacked my car.

Damage isn't too bad but I want to replace the bumper with a Type R bumper. Any suggestions, things to know?

An OEM Type R bumper wont be a direct fit since the Type R is wider than a standard Civic. You'll need to get an aftermarket Type R style front bumper, those should be a direct fit.

Sorry about your bad luck!
I'd recommend a standard MY 2025 bumper instead. It mimics the CTR look and will fit the Si's narrower body, with the quality of an OEM part.

A member of the other forum has this bumper on his SI. I saw it in person and it looks really good. This one is made to fit the 22-24 models. You may need to replace other pieces to use the 25 bumper.

I like the Type R replica bumper a lot more than the 2025 facelift bumper.

Personally, I would just get a new oem ‘24 bumper. It’s the only one that you can fit fog lights into if you decide to go that route. I was even able to slide some Baja s1’s in without needing to cut anything.

I ended up going with an OEM replacement. But I just put a Type R style on the back! Really wish I went with the Type R front too!

Went with OEM front! They look great as is. I did put a Type R style on the back, looks so much better! Your car looks sick! Love the 27won cooler!
