I have the 27Won full turbo-back exhaust on my 24 si. The drone is very minimal, and honestly the cars runs very quietly at low rpm but will scream when opened up. Food for thought
If it’s from a reputable company, I doubt you would encounter any issues as long as it is installed properly (it’s hard to mess up an intake). If you don’t want to change the wiring you could use an SRI from 27Won or PRL, or their HVI/CAI options.
Personally, I would just get a new oem ‘24 bumper. It’s the only one that you can fit fog lights into if you decide to go that route. I was even able to slide some Baja s1’s in without needing to cut anything.
Wow. Personally I prefer the front end of my ‘24 because I found out that the baja design s1’s fit perfectly as fog lights. However… I’m wondering if that digital display will plug directly in to the 24 ?
From what I’ve seen on other threads, people have been having issues with trans seals when running different MTF. It sounds like the safest option is to use Honda’s MTF, unless you’ve done a rebuild (PPG gears, etc) and possibly replaced (or upgraded if there is an option to do so) the seals on...
More aggressive driving styles (track events, spirited street driving, high rpms in general) will wear down your oil life much quicker than the normal wear that a typical civic owner will do. The oil life reminder really just refers to the driver who uses their Honda to take the kids to school...
Thanks for adding the link- and yes a heavier oil seems to help out. I’ve been running Motul 5w-40 since my first oil change, it really quieted down all the top end chatter these cars seem to come with.
I have looked over this forum and not been able to find anything like this yet. I’ve seen some of this from Honda dealers as well, but a lot of them contradict or just apply to the “chill” daily drivers. Although most of this may be common knowledge, I still wanted the general maintenance...

My SI is FBO, I have been running motul 5w40 for the past few oil changes. I have not had any issues with it, and actually it quieted down the racket that a stock Honda engine tends to make quite a bit.
