Outstanding fitment on this thread. Any reason 19x10 on 265/30 tire with 39 offset would be a concern? According to fitment calculator its nearly identical but am unsure why I dont see anyone opt for a 19" package other than tire prices, availability and comfort vs and 18 with 35 wall.
As long as you aren't dumped, you should be OK. Have a buddy on 19x10 +40 ze40 and the OEM Michelin tires. All good.

Potholes.

Potholes is the reason for 18s
I see. Swerve and dodge I must. San Diego roads are just as unforgiving as anywhere. 18s just dont look great compared to 19s. Style>function shouldn't be a thing with this chassis but im trying to find a happy medium.

I just need about 2dgr to tuck the tyre in.
Rears are perfect.

Do you happen to have a side profile photo of this set up on stock suspension ?

I'm looking at doing the 275/35 on 18x10 +40 thing.
BUT.
I absolutely have to stay on stock height suspension, due to a driveway situation.

Cheers,
Josh.

I can believe that won't rub under normal compression due to dynamic camber, but that does look like a lot of static poke. Maybe 5-10mm, but if you get a +45 or +50 you'd have to check your inner clearance under compression.

It’s funny. I’m on stock suspension but I’ve been asked a number of times if it’s lowered.

That's EXACTLY the photo I was hoping to see.
Thank you very much Shingo.
I can go ahead without fear that god-spec on std suspension will look goofy.
Thank you.

Stupid question. But as far as fit to fender clearance / fitment (not width)

Wouldn’t a 9.5” wide wheel with a 35 offset be the same? Or would one poke more than the other. Mathmatically it shows +1mm

It is when you only consider the wheel (poke), but the same width tire stretches differently, which is critical to clearance when you're also really low.

Yes they're similar in size

from my personal experience, 9.5 +35 pokes out more than 10 +40 with the same 265/35/18 tire
9.5 +38 is nearly identical to 10 +40

Close, but not quite.

9.5 +35 is 1mm inboard than 10 +40 (for all intents and purposes, this is the exact same outboard fitment). Thus, 9.5 +38 would be 4mm more inboard than a 10 +40.

It may likely appear that way simply because you're fitting the same tire on a wider wheel, in effect, making the sidewall less bulgy.

Anyone with Swift/Eibach Pro/Spoon springs have passengers in your car often and have any tire rubbing issues?
Since no one directly answered. You shouldn't have any issues. I'm on swift springs and 275/35 Advan Apex tires, have driven around with my wife and son in the car and hit some decent bumps in the road and never had rubbing.

These were the day after springs got put on, I just have the front alignment pin pulled, and it's otherwise stock alignment specs. The shop that did the install will do another alignment in a few hundred miles to make sure everything is good, but I haven't had any issues.

Looks amazing. How’s the ride quality?
