God Spec info 18x10 +40 (pictures, alignment specs, tire info)

Have never done this before (downsizing in wheels from the oem size), but digging the 18"s and meatier tires look. Took about 4.5 months from time of ordering from Garage IMMI (whom did a phenomenal job of keeping me posted on their shipment status) to reach me here in Virginia. Think I did right with matte black as the bronze color clashes with Boost Blue imo.

Anyhow - factory alignment specs and alignment pins are still intact - zero rubbing whatsoever. Car def rides smoother with the 35 series V601 tires, but only complaint is the super sharp steering response that the 19" OEM PS4S tires had is now toned down (guessing due to thicker sidewall and softer than the PS4S tires).

Anyone with Swift/Eibach Pro/Spoon springs have passengers in your car often and have any tire rubbing issues?

Since you got the Swift spring answer I can now answer the question from the Spoon springs side. Last night I drove with 4 normal sized adults in the car. Mobbed all around town at freeway speeds in all types of situations.
No rubs whatsoever.

Looks amazing. How’s the ride quality?

The Swifts are on the stiff side for sure, but if your roads are decent they ride really smooth most of the time. The only time they bother me is on really bad roads, but the OEM setup isn't exactly great there either.

Thinking of upgrading to a 275 next but want a squarer tire. Thinking a RE-71RS or RT660 in a 265 would fit better than a 275 280+ TW tire.

You do not want a 265 tire on a 10” wheel for a “squarer” tire look. 275 with a TW of 200 or lower will achieve that or a 285/295 non-competition tire with a TW of 200+.

Ohlins with shorter swift springs. Its lower than sportlines by about .5" up front (about 1.75" drop total). Also -3⁰ front camber, no rubbing.

Anyone running PS4S 285/35/18? I just got some 18x10 Volks and considering this specific tire/size as I've heard that 275 looks stretched using the PS4S. Planning to run Eibach Pro kit springs eventually.

Has anyone been running this setup for a while with extra front camber? I just installed EVS ball joints in spring, and have already chewed through 3 front tires. The OEM Michelins that had about 12k miles on them corded pretty quickly after about a dozen autocross runs after the camber change, but they also had roughly 8-10 events (~50-60 runs) and a track day on them before that so I'm still not entirely sure how much to attribute their demise to the camber... but also worth noting that one of the Falken RT660+ I replaced them with is also pretty much destroyed, but I believe that may be a delamination issue, or at worst my toe may be off on the passenger side. But this one only lasted 2 events, and roughly 1500 miles (the other side is fine though). These were 275/30/19 on 19x9.5 +45 Apex VS-5RS.

Just curious about the life expectancy of tires if I leave the camber as is. It's currently at -3.5. I plan on going with 275/35/18 RE-71RS. I'll do at minimum 1 autocross event per month but honestly probably no more than 3, and hopefully at least 2 track days this upcoming season. I'd like to think I can still have some tire left after a season, assuming I rotate every 2-3 events at a minimum (and probably flip mount halfway through).

Toe destroys tires way faster than camber. What is your toe set at?

I have my own "God Spec" being built....19x10 ET40, yeah I know, not the same thing. Excited to have them in the next few months.
