Jesus Christ I can’t believe I just read this whole tread. This Tougefl5 guy couldn’t be more full of shit and sounds like a super doucher. “The tires are currently not factory” WHAAAT? What tires are they then. Probably some custom made compound from Michelin because you know the CEO and he made a custom set to match your unbelievable driving skills that work on all temps with your BBK?

Everyone does different things to their respective cars based on what they like and perceive as important, fun, fast etc. I will tell you for best performance gain on a race track (or street if your a lunatic) would be a good 200tw tire. I shaved ~5 secs off my lap time at mid Ohio on a 200tw (potenza race). 1:39.6 from the previous 144.05. I always planned on going to a 200TW but Essex was running an amazing sale last year so I pulled the trigger on them. Like most everyone on this forum I see zero reason for a BBK (AP racing, paragon etc) unless you track your car and are pretty fast doing it.

@Tougefl5 youre dead set on a BBK, whether some simple upgrades could be enough for you, so at this point get WHICHEVER one you feel comfortable paying for or if you like the looks of one better than the other.

while you’re at it though might as well get those 200TW tires to go with it.
the following has zero to do with brakes but a story about tires matter.
basically, I have one tire that’s just a UHP all season, and the rest summer. Due to a screw becoming lodged in the sidewall. Anyways, I was racing a ZL1 , in Mexico, obviously, going around this slight bend at 104, the rear kicked out on me. I am 💯 it was because of that tire.( I forget it’s there and switching back at the end of the month for winter).
Or Don’t and hopefully all your issues will be fixed that you are experiencing
Both brands have there plus and minus. So I'm not really sure and was hoping for some insight. I can't store a spare set of wheels and tires right now. I just bought some new ps4s about a month ago. A was planning on AP however I got some great feedback and a hell of a price. On paragon.

Ok here is my feedback on the AP kit. I have the CP9668 372mm disc with 25mm ferodo 3.12 pads. The kit is amazing and for the price it damn well better be. I justified it somewhat that if and when I sell the car I will take them off and resell them. The going rate for used AP kits are 60-70% of retail soooo…. It makes it a little more palatable. And at the price I paid last year I’m very happy with my purchase.

If anyone still reads this thread... Both AP and Paragon are having black Friday sale on pretty much everything. Go directly to their website, no code needed.
