I’ll pass on the name of the sales person with the rallye red Type R if it is honestly $1,000 discount below MSRP, and anyone here is interested.

I don’t see any 2026 Type R on the horizon!

I have one dealer offering a Rallye Red Type R for no less than $68,000 (one of a kind! The guy said)

another dealership told me if I sign before end of 3rd quarter, he will take $1,000 off MSRP Red Type R

I won’t believe it until I see the final offer sheet

I’m still shooting for crystal black.

If you aren't already, use the link above to filter by black and then call on every dealer who has one on-site or in transit. I bought mine when it was in-transit

Is anyone else seeing this level of inflation on the type Rs? I swear I've only ever seen priced closer to sticker around where I am. When I was being fleeced it was $51k otd.

I suggest OP try to pit dealers against each other, that's how I got under MSRP. Get a quote, from one dealer, in paper, go to the next. If they don't give you a printed version, take a picture. Dealerships do not deserve loyalty!

I found a black Type R, $54k out the door

best deal so far

Some of these dealers already installed the leather knob and alcantera wheel

I found one with no extra accessories!

but they are firm at $54k

I’m probably going to pull the trigger

I’ve already talked to 10 different dealerships all over the US.

I didn’t call any dealers in Cali because they usually charge markups

The $54k black Type R has 7 year ceramic coating, trunk tray, all weather mats, and splash guards

This is the first dealership I talked to

they sent me a second offer sheet, firm $56.8k (also includes lifetime engine and powertrain warranty, full lifetime 1,000 years 50,000,000 miles, no limit warranty)

Tell them you will buy 100% if they remove the shitty ceramic coat, splash guards and trunk tray, and charge you the difference in price. All of those except the ceramic coat are removable. I bet if they budget it'll be $51k/$52k

I'm in CA. 54k OTD is $2k over MSRP! That's what I paid for mine 4 months ago.
Yeah, it’s a little pricey still

but these dealers want to play hard ball for the black or the red Type R

Champion white or boost blue seems to be easier to find at MSRP with no markup

also thanks I have been using the website tool to find all the Type R available. That website is awesome

The dealer in Arizona (?) with the rallye red Type R said they will come down from $68k to $58k, no lower than $58k

they have it on site

(I never heard back from the guy who said he would sell the red type R for $1,000 below MSRP, I think it was fish bait)
