Test drove a '22 CT4 about a bit ago, just to get other options. The guy said the trim/package/accessories was about 76k MSRP iirc right. It was the only black one they had on the lot. No ADM but it was because it was basically a "leftover" and the '23s were gonna be marked up. The drive was amazing and I was very close to picking it up. My trepidation came because I've always enjoyed smaller, more agile cars, and it definitely felt like more of a muscle car. One amazing thing about it was it was SOOO QUIET in the cab when just cruising.Man these markups are making me consider more expensive options. Anyone know what the CT4V Blackwing ADM is? Never been a caddy fan, but everyone seems to love it.
Honestly, if a dealership wanted 25k ADM for the FL5, I'd get the blackwing hands down if I could find it without ADM again. Obviously 76k (in that example, I think 23 might be around 80ish base) is not cheap, and even without ADM the OTD price is gonna be over 80k. The dealer also wouldnt budge below MSRP, maybe if I had a prior relationship with him, but I didn't.
Aside from a trade-in, I do make well over 100k and have some cash on hand. Most white-collar workers that aren't completely house-poor or financially insecure can probably afford a 50-80k car fairly easily. Are you guys sitting on saved cash? Are you all making over 100k? Are your jobs absolutely secure?
