I am trying to decide between the two

Anyone installed and tested the 27Won intake?

I have not seen any real world reviews or tests for 27Won, esp for IAT/heat management, power/torque gains/loses, and most important for me, daily drivability

I am aware of the increased noise, but would like to quantify or hear clean audio (without background music)

It also seems that the 27Won is not compatible with a larger turbo inlet pipe? should I care, if I keep the OEM turbo (and intercooler, for now)

Or should I just give up on 27Won and go tried and true PRL HVI and their titanium inlet?

UPDATE:

Since I purchased the Cobb AccessPort/jailbreak/unlimited tune I decided to get their Redline Carbon Fiber Intake

I got them both from @JST Performance who was very helpful and patient with a novice who asked tons of question.

Interesting- I must have missed the memo on the 27WON. I'm out of the market because I went with Infinity Design in the spring (no regrets), but that's an interesting option worth considering. Being that it's pretty new (looks like they just released teaser clips in August), you may not get a good sample size of audio clips or user testimonials.

Just guessing, but the open element type intake is likely going to give more noise, in a very good way. I deeply considered the Armaspeed intake for this very reason. I'd recommend checking out a couple clips of that intake for a benchmark; I'd have to guess the 27WON would sound similar. In every in-cabin clip I've heard of the Armaspeed, it's caused me to second guess my choice lol. MUCH more obvious intake induction noise; the type you'd expect from a naturally aspirated car. The Infinity Design for example gives noticeably more of that induction noise vs OEM plus very noticeable turbo noises but the Armaspeed open-element smacks you in the face with it in the YouTube clips I've seen.

PRL is apparently louder than Infinity Design but I'd imagine the 27WON to be louder still.

As for the other "usability" questions, I think at this point the PRL is just as you say- tried and true. Clear winner of market share, and they've revised their original design with a carbon offering that I would have considered had it been available when I was in the market for an intake. The obvious "can't go wrong" choice.

Just my .02 as a random but I'm curious to see some real-world impressions.

I'm leaning towards the GruppeM's system. Seems to make the most HP/Torque numbers out of the box before a proper tune.

from what I gathered the open intakes aren't great. I'd personally only go PRL or if you wanna spend the money, Gruppe M, is by far the best looking.

You used the pricing for the carbon prl to be fair. So prl kinda blows the rest out the water for price

Updated the chart and use the standard PRL intake kit instead of the CF version.
