If you're willing to compromise handling for comfort they are alright but I was not happy with them. I much prefer the factory 19" wheels for overall feel.

Funny you mention that, as I am on 18" wheels and was pondering this last night.
Since moving to 255/40R18 DWS06+'s on Enkei TSV's, I've been very pleased with the ride quality and overall behavior of the car. When on the factory wheels/tires, I had this ITS ADS module toward the top of my list but it has dropped several spots since then and is no longer a high priority. While I'd still like to sample it, I'm pleased with how the car rides and behaves now.

Does anyone have this ADS installed with aftermarket springs Swift or others? In addition, with 18in wheels?
I read it can be too soft with 18in wheels but one can always just leave the setting in sport right?

Just got word that the ADS unit I ordered back in November from MyAcuraParts arrived at their facility and will be shipping out to me shortly.
Will be curious to see how the suspension feels with it added. Ride was noticeably improved when I went to 265/35 18s (Continental ExtremeContact DWS06s). I needed a bit more sidewall to contend with city driving.

I guess jumping the line has advantages...unclear though if using that VIN really expedited anything.

IMO I think it will be too soft. When I went to 18" wheels it was nearly perfect with the FL5 ADS.
I have a feeling that any Type S owners that downsize to 18" wheels will want to swap to the FL5 version.

My guess this is a matter of preference. I can say on 18s with my stock FL5 ADS is still pretty harsh in most conditions (but especially in day-to-day city driving) - even in comfort. I never touch the other modes. DC city streets aren't the best. In R+ on the original 19s it was like riding in a covered wagon (similar to when I drive my S2K in the summer, but more jittery).

Installed the ads module and the ride is much better. I wouldn’t say it’s too soft, over some roads it’s still stiff. At least, now I’m not fatigued after each drive. The roads around SoCal is not the best.
I would almost say the 18” wheels plus the module would be a great pair. Some say it will be overkill soft but I figure I’d just put it in R or Sport mode and find the balance. Will install and test later on, going to rain this whole week.
