I had no idea they had a DCT!

Also is the 10 speed a good transmission? Like I mean ZF good?
Yes the ILX and previous gen TLX both have an 8 speed DCT that is excellent. Smoothest DCT on the market. The 10 spd is ZF 8 spd good, a lil less snappy but it’s

Hmm, sounds like it won't have the CTR seats just the regular Si ones :(

Magazines mentioned Acura didn't allow pictures of the interior, so it's possible the prototype was using base Integra seats for now, with the final product having unique seats for the Type S.

I mean they already had a very good DCT, that they scrapped to replace with a CVT. I guarantee an Integra Type S with the 10 spd would definitely punch above its weight class like the current Accord Sport 2.0T does.
Or they could just source one from ZF or something. Sure it might cost $1000 more, so charge $2000 for the option.

It's probably either Honda stubborness, or the cost of US certification, which is very expensive.

No need to outsource the transmission, the current ZF 9 spd Honda uses on the V6s is trash.

The DCT could have replaced the CVT the auto Integra uses and the 10 spd handles everything else

How about we stop with the boring auto transmission wishes and praise Honda for making one last manual transmission vehicle

There’s plenty of faster automatic cars with awd too boot out there for around the price.

Nothing is better than a smooth shifting MT

This car won't be 19k more than the base model even though the CTR is (MSRP Wise). Acura dealers will not be following the same suit as Honda dealers on marking up the CTR to the ITS. "MSRP Only" dealers won't do the CPO unit trick to uphold that policy.

it won’t be the last 6mT IC Civic. Some places are already asking EV owners not to recharge their cars due to power shortages. That’s with EVs at 2-5% market share.?

True but with future EPA regulations most will be hybrids with CVTs.

Or people could mind their own mf business on how people decide to finance their cars ?
If people don’t want their poor decisions commented on then perhaps they shouldn’t post them on a forum where, ya know, people chat about things.

Someone commented they put $0 down for 8 years in this thread and there’s more detailed terms in other threads. It’s not a big deal if someone finds it comical when they see the terms.

Aight haven’t seen that. I guess the whole ADM and money talk is just old. Would be cool to actually talk about the Type R and now Type S without someone talking money lol
