Boost Blue looks amazing, but it also looks amazing on the 30 base/sport models I see every week riding around town.

I went out of the way to get one in BB for my 2020. Part of the reason I sold it was Honda went from it being an exclusive color on the type R to offering it on the base model. Really ruined it for me.

From photos the black seems to look the best but after owning a black car I will never do that again.

For me, white or nothing at this point.

I got video confirmation from a GM agreeing to 5k ADM. Just waiting allocation. We'll see if I can leverage that with other dealerships around here

Unfortunately here in SoCal the dealers I have tried are smoking the silly stuff with their ADMs and trying to claim "After speaking with corporate they want atleast a $25k mark up on this one". I just laugh for a few seconds and hang up. How unfortunate that they do this to people that really want the car but kill it with these crazy mark ups.

Exercising patience is the play here. These dealers will not want to sit on these cars.
I’ll never forget the dealer I bought my 19 Type R from years ago. They bragged about their first year cars all selling for 60k+ with no issue. I patiently sat there with my msrp offer and pretended to be impressed :)

just a reminder guys...vin does not mean plaque number

although you may have number 150 on last 3 of vin, does not mean that is your number inside

Figured I would share my success story;

In January I had agreed with a dealer here in MPLS MN to take the first allocated 23 for MSRP plus 2k in accessories. The way I look at it, it's a steal. I was going to do tint and PPF anyways and I get nice floor mats too.
I got the first allocation, sonic gray. Should be here within the next 1-2 months.

I legitimately struck gold, the dealer now is doing 3k over plus 3k in accessories on all type R "deposits"

It's not done till I have the keys to my car and it's in my damn garage, but I have a hopeful feeling I won't get screwed.

The right deal is out there, don't get discouraged ?. I just got EXTREMELY lucky.

White at MSRP or I will not buy. I've already passed on a dozen cars for either the wrong color or them asking 5-15K ADM. Once they say they have a ADM I basiclly just say, "thanks not willing to pay a markup and hang up on them".

I have two dealers that have white ones coming in that are supposed to email me over the paperwork today. One already called this AM, both prob have ADM but I will just keep hunting.
If any of those places offer 5k ADM and you're not biting, let a fellow GA guy know ?
