, as I stated from HQ source "nothing has been decided yet". This is from the sales and allocations team at Honda Canada.I trust no one at the dealership level because they have 0 knowledge of what is actually happening.
No one can "order" at FL5 anyone claiming that can today are full of shit lol.
All these small city dealerships confirming or denying anything are all full of shit. Unless it's from a top 5 dealer (all in my region) they know 0.
Ill throw you a bone. Here is one said "lottery" entry form provided to me back in May by one of the larger dealers in Toronto via Stripe. Where this actually goes, no idea. The dealership didn't fill this in for me, I populated it myself and was told this is for "Canada wide Honda lottery" not sure if true, but at the time GMs have ALL been made aware of the Stripe system. If they shared it with their team no idea.
Tell me how much these recent small dealerships have shared lol.

Canada HQ is in 25 KM's from Toronto core, most Toronto GMs have people they know at HQ. Sorry, but its just logistics lol. Dont mean to be rude, but smaller regional dealerships simply know fuck all.
Honestly, I'm at the point where I don't care to speculate anymore. whatever fucking happens will happen. Trying to confirm or deny news via dealership networks (Canada) is tiring, annoying and pointless.
Just sit back, and wait for official news to drop. One way or anything 30-50% won't be getting one. Time to just accept that fact.

No, I completely understand what you're saying. Spring 2023 is what I've been told since the day I put down a deposit. I'm not high on the list so it might even be 2024. Gives me time to save up more for accessories I guess ?

I would assume high volume dealers would have more pull / details with Honda HQ, but that is anyones guess. No that my option means anything. But I think you are right 30-50% of us wont be getting a Type R. Never mind the lotto. But if the prices is too high, we might be dropping like flys. Plus the high interest rates as no manufacturer is going to buy down the APR if they know the car is limited. (Get ready for mortgage size car payments)

Don't murder me, but im hoping the price is high LMAO. I'll be here picking up all the FL5s when people drop off the pecking order cheque in hand.
I've accepted whatever I buy next will be in the $60's+, at this point I just want something in my garage to fill the void. RS3, M2C, M3C, GRC, FK8 LE, Golf R etc who knows what I can actually get lol.
