Well I just got my deposit back from Sisley Honda today. As I went in to ask them whats going on with the order. They tell me they know Honda released the info. But they are doing a lottery and will provide the link when they have more info. I was like…. Interesting you mean the strip link...

No news from my dealer. I was dealing with the leasing manager, they didn't even reply to my last email. But Honda Canada’s face book page has just updated their profile photo with a CW Type R. Not sure of that is a glimmer or light …. Didn't they say the embargo is lifting this Friday...

The funny part is Honda Canada keeps referring interested buyers to contact a local dealer for more information (at least on their Facebook replies). But its a mix bag at the dealer level.

At least yours asked you for a color, mine said not until they have pricing / programs for the Type R. I have to go back to get a real bill of sale when that happens. All I have on my BOS that says 2021 LE and hand written 2023 Type R deposit.

I would assume high volume dealers would have more pull / details with Honda HQ, but that is anyones guess. No that my option means anything. But I think you are right 30-50% of us wont be getting a Type R. Never mind the lotto. But if the prices is too high, we might be dropping like...

I am also hoping its less then 52K as well. As the LE was $54,600 and the normal 2021 Type R was 48K.

Good to know the dealers in Quebec is asking for colors. Did they mentioned about the price. If the car is going for 45K USD which is 62K CAD direct conversion. Lets say its we get a deal at 58K CAD + fees and taxes.. Will you still be on board? I wonder if the FL5 will cost in between a...

I guess my second option (not really a back up plan) would be a Core GR Corolla. As i have a deposit on both and if everything rings true (Lotto and limited supply). I might end up with nothing. As There is no guarantee from the dealer or the manufacturer. Just plain sad.

I think someone (Honda Employee) on the forum had said for people with deposits the dealers are going to add them on the reservation site and the deposit amount mention was $1000 (that was the amount I paid for my deposit at the GTA dealer) and would be refundable. I wouldn’t lose hope yet as...

It looks like Honda Canada has put the Type R back on the website inbetween the Pilot and Prologue. I guess that is a good sign.

Hello, new member here. Been lurking for a while. I had reached out to my GTA dealer this week. After reading Midnight Vtec’s post about his deposit being refunded. The manager I had left the deposit with said. Everything is good and is just waiting for Honda to release them.
