  1. Stage 1: All Season Tires on FL5

My Evo X MR came with forged BBS and my Z Performance came with forged Rays, but they're both upper trims. I'm sure if there was a Type R+ of some kind, that trim would come standard with forged wheels.
  2. California Dream seat covers for FL5 Type R

Any pics of them installed and wrinkle-free? Is the material slippery when you sit on it?
  3. Mechanical key doesn't do anything

I want to lock and unlock the door with the mechanical key, but the key doesn't seem to do anything. I checked several threads on forums, Facebook groups, and Reddit, and tried the following (with the window down, so I can operate the interior lock from outside the car): With car battery...
  4. FL5 vs Elantra N DCT

You nailed it! I always wondered why the looks never grew on me, and that's exactly it.
  5. FL5 vs Elantra N DCT

One of the most pointless facelifts of all time
  6. Android Auto: broken Waze and music

I remember seeing that, but the music app I use isn't one that Waze is "compatible" with. On one of my other cars, music also automatically starts regardless of the setting, but only if the last music source used to was Android Auto. If the last source used was AM, for example, connecting...
  7. Android Auto: broken Waze and music

I'm using Android Auto in my 2025 FL5. As many people suggested, I disabled the built-in Navigation app via General Settings > System > Detailed Information > App Manager. In Android Auto, when I select a destination in Waze, a route appears and navigation begins, but then immediately stops...
  8. Anyone with Enkei PF06

I found this post on Car Tune of an FK8 running the 18x9+28 size. The 18x9+42 size has the same profile (face M), so it should clear our brakes too. Enkei JP lists the weight of both 18x9 sizes as 9.4 kg (20.7 lbs) and 19x9.5+45 (face R) as 10.0 kg (22.0 lbs).
  9. Has anyone installed ITS susp module and returned to Type R module?

I'm not a very skilled or experienced driver. I noticed a very slight loss of steering sharpness across all modes using the ITS module, but not enough that I couldn't adapt to very easily. The total amount of steering feedback didn't change.
  10. 2026 FL5 Speculation Thread

To be fair, a 205 GTI or CR-X SiR had no hope of keeping up with 964s. We've come a long way since then.
  11. Washington WTB FL5 new or used with low miles

The best deals are drying up, but I would start with this list. It's sorted from oldest to newest with the idea being that, provided they still have it, the dealer with longest sitting car will be the most eager to sell it. You can filter to new only or some acceptable mileage as you like. I...
  12. God Spec info 18x10 +40 (pictures, alignment specs, tire info)

Thank you! How much camber are you going to run?
  13. God Spec info 18x10 +40 (pictures, alignment specs, tire info)

How well do god spec wheels fit on stock suspension?
  14. Official Wheel Fitment Thread for 11th Gen FL5 Civic Type R

265/35R18 is about the same size as 265/30R19 (stock), which is 643 mm diameter. 275/35R18 is 650 mm diameter, so you're lifting the car by 3.5 mm.
  15. Running 255 width tires

This car has the widest fronts of all my cars and it tramlines the most, so my guess it's probably some combination of compound and width.
  16. Running 255 width tires

I see people going up from 265 up to 275 pretty often, but it looks like going down to 255 isn't uncommon either? After the first few hundred miles, I noticed that the stock tires kick up everything on the road (it's been pretty windy lately, so lots of debris everywhere) and "grab" road...
  17. 18x8.5 Enkei TS-V + 255/40 DWS06+

Thank you for this! There is a wheel (Enkei PF06) I like that comes in 18x9+42, which is the next fit down from 19x9.5+45. I'm torn between running 265/35 or going narrower to 255/35 or 255/40 so that the sidewall is better supported. I don't want to lose much steering sharpness, but I also...
  18. *The FL5 Track Junkie Thread*

What's the rationale for running a narrower tire?
  19. Type R owner age?

Oh yeah, now that we have one, I'm 32. Didn't take as long to get here as I expected.
  20. Spying on you?

My small contribution: If you decide to remove the ASC completely from your car, you can route the ASC cable up to the hole behind the screen and tie up all three cords together to prevent rattles.
