Evidently there will be an “FK8, FK9, and R” along with a bunch of other bs lol

Guess he realized that, he responded in the comments saying he would have the first one, at that dealer, not 0001.

It's really not that big of a deal since we have some members here who are first in line at some dealerships here.

I wonder how much of a markup he had to pay ? Its LA soo you can almost guarantee it unfortunately

I would imagine he would be giving them free publicity and advertising that is worth more than % above MSRP.

Yeah, I would think he might get it at MSRP, then again, the dealership isn’t corporate Honda, so they may do it anyway.

I know some on here are first in line, just thought he might have a tad more info than the average guy.

Never did get a 10th gen due to not wanting to pay bullshit markup. Debating on even trying for an 11th gen, or just buy a Civic Si lol

For the price, the Elantra N is a hard deal to beat. The one thing I’m not the hugest fan of are the pops and bangs fad, that has literally been applied to almost every semi to full performance vehicle released nowadays. And I see comments on social media, all saying how good the N sounds, in comparison to the R, and other vehicles…and while I agree the FK8 was a bit quiet, I do not want that goofy stuff on the Type R.

Yeah I’ve been wondering if the track and interior stuff we heard was in R+ mode, if so, it sounds like just a tad louder than the FK8.

Just got a call from GM in Honda (in Socal) and he said they are expecting deliveries next year.

I said no.
