I initially thought that but then I reread the post. Subaru is offering $40,000, not Honda.Um…We’re missing half the equation here, or did I miss something? They’re giving you what appears to be a really nice deal on the front side for your Subbie. That’s awesome! But then, trust me, they will make up for it on the back side of the deal via ADM and other add-ons to your FL5. So, they may come back and say “Your red FL5 is going to be $65,000.” Oof!!! I’m definitely not trying to piss in anyone’s Cheerios here, but we know dealerships have to make a profit (and they will), especially on a hot vehicle. They can get more “creative” with the numbers when you have a trade-in. Maybe this all doesn’t matter to you. I’m only pointing out a potential problem if it does matter.?
