I just sent a mass text to all the dealers I’m working with with the October 28th date, embargo, price drop possibly. My primary dealer responded saying the 28th is the allocation date and they’re waiting for their FL5 to be input into the production cycle. Not sure what this means. Hoping @tuhroo or @Tickle can shed some light and educate me.

He’s referring to when we’ll be able to see them in “IN.Honda” which is Honda’s internal network for dealers. Your dealership will be able to tell you exactly how much they’ve received and there expected arrival date.

Yes US specific, this allocation will only be the first batch and VERY few dealerships will receive more than one. Smaller dealerships that don’t move a lot of volume will not receive any at all.

you want them to know your name by heart so they know to call you right away (dealers not doing reservations)

hardly any dealer will get more than 1 to start...only the huge stores will like rick case honda

they won't say what they will receive in TOTAL for good, that will depend on production going forward but it is very slim

Gotcha, so it's going to be a matter of calling them up and seeing if/when they will be receiving their one.

ditto... but I'm pretty sure they have the upper hard for now. Least a year or two.
