Sounds great for the hybrid setups. Glad S+ is coming to all of them. Also a really interesting idea about allowing some chassis flex to increase traction.
My wife drives a 2025 Hybrid Civic and it's a great car.
Not sure why anyone is upset about this car/drivetrain.
Torque steer isn't bad at all, especially on the OEM setup. I have the Phearable S2/93 and it's really great. I put it on at about 5k and I'm at 9k now no issues. I also have a PRL intake, great combo. I didn't get pops added to my tune as I'm not a 20 year old who owns a 2012 Audi S4. :D

I get that part, I was using a 10mm spacer on the oem wheels to get the look I wanted after lowering and it helps a lot with how the car looks from a tucked/flush perspective. I don't know if that would change my perception of how the diameter of the wheel looks in the wheel well though, that's...
I thought I could both see what 18's look like on the car and save a little on the tire due to the size difference. Next year I'll probably do what you mentioned above.
I agree that they still look good. I just don't think they look as good as if they were a 19", but what you said really sums it up. Even with the 18-19 most non car people wouldn't even notice, and if I didn't go with a silver wheel it wouldn't be as obvious.
It's just a small thing for sure...
I mean it is a good winter setup overall. I just thought I would be running that 18x10 in the summer based on how these looked and that thought went away real quick once I had them on.
I'll probably end up with a GTC02 or something like it in a 19x9.5 this summer.
That was part of the calculation. I'm not going to drive the car hard in winter, or much at all, but I might need it on occasion so I went with a wheel/tire combo from tirerack that I thought would look good, and saved some money on the tire.
I think some of you are missing the point. It's not the tire width that I'm regretting. It's the diameter of the wheel.
18x10 or 18x8.5 is still an 18" circle tucked into your wheel well.
The ratio of the tire does make for a taller sidewall but that happens no matter what you do on an 18"...
I ordered a set of Enkei TSV in storm gray (18x8.5 +38) with a performance winter tire (Michelin Alpin 5, 235/40) and was pretty stoked to put them on. I wanted to see a silver wheel on the red, and was looking forward to some more sidewall in the winter, also everyone is constantly talking...
I talked to my dealer today as were looking at getting a Prelude for my wife and he said that he hasn't heard any news about the 26MY CTR and doesn't expect that there would be one as they really want to showcase the Prelude as their sporty Honda model for next year.
Interesting take, time...
Companies will exploit changes in market forces whenever possible, this is literally built into our economic system, and you should expect it every time. The people making the market turbulent intentionally through policy are at the root of these issues though. Something to keep in mind.
I was going to update to say that it could be very common on that part so even though it's a 'defect' it was approved overall by QA and lots of people could see it if they took off some of the trunk panels. I wouldn't worry about it at all.
I think that's a defect for sure. I wouldn't be too concerned about it in this location as that part was likely inspected and approved. I work for a company that gets in some stamped parts and depending on the piece we accept with defects if it isn't a structural piece, and it isn't customer...
" When a vehicle has U0100, most of the time, it won’t run or drive anywhere. The most common causes of U0100 are a bad PCM/ECM or TCM. It can be an exceptionally difficult code to diagnose. "
Did you disconnect ground from your battery while you did the fuel pump work? I would check grounds...
Knowing how terrible most stuff is from there expect that even if the pic is ok you are going to likely get a shit product.
Don't be surprised if you get a desk display exhaust for $1000. :D
Grats on the purchase!
Hesitant about a low wage tech installing a lo jack system into a new car (although I think the new ones just plug into the OBDII port, but they still need to cut a 12v wire in the harness). There are some threads about car companies sharing driving data with insurance...
The Phearable tune has all the stuff the Hondata has with more power. The Hondata tune is very conservative. It's considered an OTS (off the shelf) tune and you don't need to do anything else. Dyno tuning could dial you in on the margins, but then you would just pay for that tuner to tune your...
