Doing God's workYes. Ill give it a try.
Can you weigh it before it gets installed. I'm considering this or PWR.My triple pass radiator is on the way.
Yea no problem! Can you weigh it before it gets installed. I'm considering this or PWR.
I'm not sure if you already have it, but I weighed the PWR Track Spec radiator at 16.2lbs, with the OE radiator weighing 9.6lbs.Can you weigh it before it gets installed. I'm considering this or PWR.
Is the PWR twice the thickness of oem?I'm not sure if you already have it, but I weighed the PWR Track Spec radiator at 16.2lbs, with the OE radiator weighing 9.6lbs.
It's close - the factory radiator core is around 1" thick whereas the PWR track spec core thickness looks to be around 1.75" (can't get an exact measurement from the bottom and the car is up in the air lol), and the end tanks are aluminum as well on the PWR instead of the OEM plastic. Is the PWR twice the thickness of oem?
Do you street drive the car. I got mixed answers about it.It's close - the factory radiator core is around 1" thick whereas the PWR track spec core thickness looks to be around 1.75" (can't get an exact measurement from the bottom and the car is up in the air lol), and the end tanks are aluminum as well on the PWR instead of the OEM plastic.
You are likely fine as intermediate with 6 track days. I took my time going int, I think was at 6 days I went int, maybe was 5 but I wanted to take advantage of the free instructors. Then I did int cuz there are some clubs here that have days that are int + only and I wanted to attend those days. That said I am not sure how you drive lol so can’t say.For VIR with TSCC how difficult would it be to move up to intermediate? How many days on track should I really have for that? I'll be at 6 days at that point?
Reason I'm asking is to possibly take advantage of the Friday on track as well which doesn't appear available to novice. At least it wasn't last memorial Day event.
