Haven't watched yet, but seems like over kill to me.
I am wrapping it up right now, its a lot of coolers thats for sure but did seem like it worked alright. Cali is also a different beast with some of the temperatures in some of the tracks.

In my opinion he needs more seat time, he's modified that car way too much.

Zygrene in a stock power DE5 no Aero just broke into the 1:39's at Laguna with basically coil-overs, brake pads, and wheel/tires.

FWIW -- the 1:37 was in an untested car that was finished the day of.

I'm just not a fan of cutting into the bumper like the kit requires, but I definitely dig the trans cooler component. Swap one oil cooler with the trans cooler and keep the center stack clear would be a nice option.

I wonder how removing the trans cooler would affect someone like myself in a cold climate where this is also a trans warmer at startup. Maybe it won't matter unless it's sub zero? Maybe I shouldn't mess with it ?

Agreed. Wunderland racing appears to be doing that.

I really want to get my tires mounted on these new rims but it's cold out, and I have no reason to bother with it until spring. Winter sucks.

I'm holding off on projects til the spring. If I keep the car, then I'll start knocking out projects then. I am known to trade-in cars pretty often lol, but this is my 3rd of this chassis, so I think i like it a bunch

I currently have my new CR-S tires warmly wrapped up inside the house. Might give them a snuggle tonight so they know they are loved.

lol, a good problem to have, I would love to be able to trade cars more often but just too lazy. I think next car I will probably keep the FL5 and add to it, I need a rwd car in the stable (probably a lotus elise when I can afford one and prices are not stupid, I can't wait till they become a 30k car again where u can buy one, drive the shit out of it and then sell it for 30k)

it's definitely not a good financial decision that I make, but the heart wants what it wants. lots of mods and then as soon as that itch is scratched, next....lol

The only car on my affordable-ish radar would be a return to VW and get a MK8.5 Golf R DSG in Euro Trim with Akro Exhaust.

Once I can still manual, I really do like the FL5 though.

I do the same thing. Although, it's been a year with the FL5, and I have a VERY hard time thinking about what could come after this. It checks all the boxes, so it would really be the question what else and not what would replace the FL5.
