I'll try USAA, everytime I got quoted it was more, my loan is with them. Not that it matters.

Overall USAA is not cheaper when factoring in all drivers and vehicles in my household. Originally switched carriers when my daughter got her license and USAA quoted me an $800 increase every 6 months. Transitioning back to USAA, after using Progressive for the last few years, because their customer service is outstanding.

Definitely not the cheapest insurance but 5 star customer service. Cannot say the same for progressive so willing to pay a premium.

My rate is 894 for 6 months and I’ve been with them for 11 years and never had an accident or claim that was my doing. ???

That’s crazy. I have three cars (Jeep, Explorer ST, and CTR) and three licensed drivers, with one being a teenager, and I pay $1800 every 6 months. That’s with multiple tickets and a few at fault accidents.
It does help that I have multiple homes and various other items insured through them.

Definitely cheap but some questionable coverages. I prefer $100k/$300k/$100k as it offers much more protection for a small increase in price every 6 months.

I personally have been hit twice and the other party had minimal coverages and could not pay for the damages to my vehicle. Thankfully I had uninsured / underinsured that covered everything.

The risk is being sued and personally responsible if you are at fault and don’t have enough coverage. I see you only have $10k for property damage liability and most modern cars today will exceed that in damages from a fender bender. If that accident involves multiple vehicles and you’re at fault you will quickly exceed that number.

Just something to consider as the additional cost is minimal and can save you a lot if financial pain in the long run.

I've had USAA for a while and I'd say their policy is usually mid-tier price wise but their customer service is outstanding. If I need to make a claim they usually have very few questions and are quick to pay out. Most other companies I've dealt with make it exhausting to get anything out of them.

So very true. Dealing with Progressive for a claim using my underinsured portion of my policy and has been dragging on for 5 months. With USAA just one call and resolved. Will never stray again.

My 2021 M2C was $379.27 for 6 months through Statefarm. I’m 41 with a perfect driving record, no kids, not married (at the time). Good coverage too. This was in IL.

Congratulations. You have cheap insurance relative to others in this thread. The sharing of this information is never ever helpful. There are far too many variables to truly compare insurance to another person. Factors include but are not limited to: FICO, age, insurance history, other products/services, location, driving history, gender, annual mileage, type of vehicle, coverages, deductible, claims history, marital status, vehicle ownership status, discount options, insurance carrier, other drivers on the policy, and the list goes on. If you want to know if your rate is a "good rate" you shop insurance carriers, you don't compare rates with randos on the interweb.

Honda of the Avenues called me this morning to let me know their Boost Blue arrived. I didn't get back to them until just now and it looks like they sold it in about two hours for $17k over.

They also just got a 2007 S2000 on the lot with 46k miles for $32k and I can't say I wasn't tempted.

Insane rates for who? The rates are insane because you say they are? Well maybe we can try this...no one gives a fuck what you're paying for your M2C and that you're 41, with no kids, and a perfect driving record. If people are paying more for a Civic, than you are your M2C, then that's what they're paying.
