Also looked around on Reddit and saw this post saying it's normal:

I did a little more sleuthing online and it looks like (depending on your symptoms), this could very well be mundane.
I don’t know man this is beyond ridiculous but I guess we just suck it up and deal with it because is a "sport car". The quality of all modern cars is beyond ridiculous while asking more money for them, I know someone will come "bUt oN 1990’s mOnEy tHiS iS cHePeAr" because of that premise now we need to get crap products and don’t say anything because JDM. Don’t say nothing just consume products and get excited for next product.

Yeah, I'm gonna have mine up on the lift today, but I suspect I won't find anything.

I've had more minor problems with my newer cars than with all the ones prior (mostly Toyotas). It's genuinely ridiculous at this point, but if it doesn't effect the car I don't really know what to do.

It is just exhausting and frustrating. That’s one of the reasons that I am afraid to even modify something on it. I was looking at exhaust options, but the ones that keep the 3-tip option that look nice or you need to replace the whole exhaust, or spend close to 5k for the like Blitz and deal with all the overpriced JDM and wait for a part for 10 years because JDM quality 🤦‍♂️ 😂. But in my opinion, if you go with the dual exhaust, that in my opinion I feel removes something from the car. Also, lowering the car is a pain. Only special shops can perform the job, but also that shortens the life of the strut/shock, but then modify it to have dash warnings or a check engine light. I don’t know if I really got into the right car platform because you have people that are grateful and if they don’t have anything to say, just don’t say anything, but always have the “aCkChYuAlLy" type that aren’t happy with life with anything since when this happened and this hobby is so toxic?

I think you got a get rid of the mindset that the car is gonna be perfect when modified. The only way I was able to make my last car is once the rmm drowned out every other sound lol

So I had her up on the lift earlier and inspected everything with an old engineer buddy. Definitely wasnt something in the suspension, and about he only thing we could find was a tiny bit of play in the universal joint for the spline that connects it to the steering column. The noise exists on his 2016 crv too, so I think this is all normal if you don't hear anything on the outside.

Anyone have an idea of what this noise is and if it’s normal? I first noticed it when driving and couldn’t pinpoint where it was coming from. General area is driver front, and usually the loudest when going over bumps. I found a way to mimic by moving the steering wheel left to right. Thanks in advance

So I've encountered this a month ago after the recall got done. I went back and they replaced my steering rack and both tie rods. Noise still there

Yeah more reason for me to believe this is normal, I know 2 other people personally who have this "issue"

I agree. My ‘24 Touring has had this issue intermittently before and after recall fix. I took to my dealer and they acknowledged it, but said they went over everything….rack, tierods, etc and couldn’t find anything wrong. 🤷

Hello
Any updates? I'm having a noticeable clunking noise coming from the front suspension in cold weather. It appears to happen when driving at low speed on some bumps, the colder it is the louder it gets. Dealer has checked the entire suspension twice now and they couldn't find anything...
Its driving me insane at this point.

I’m in the game now too, took it in for the damn recall and a day later I’ve got a clunk while in the parking lot. 😒 this is while I swear I hate dealers.

I had a new M240i that also made suspension noises periodically so keep that in mind before spending another 20,000 😳
