I bought my Rallye Red SI Coupe brand new off the Dealer lot in 20, Drove it just over 100,000 miles in five years, most of that with a base 93 Octane tune from Hondata and a PRL Short Ram intake. Unfortunately car got totaled after a dear strike in November but now I have a 26 Si in Urban Grey and I'm curious how many of you also moved up from a 10th gen and what are your thoughts?

I've only just hit 1000 miles. So far the car feels like a more mature version of the previous gen and I'm very happy with it so far though I'm not sure if it tops the 10th gen yet.

I didn't have a 10th Si but 2 10th Sport hatches. I love the fact there is so much more space under the hood to work on stuff compared to the 10th and the body lines are not as jagged.

I had a 2016 EXL, traded it in for a 2023 Sport Touring 6MT and then traded it that in for the 2025 Type R.

I thought my EXL was great, it rode great and a mild tune made it fun to drive. I prefer the styling of the 11th Gen and the Type R and having a manual transmission, and like Shankmeyster I love that there is more room under the hood to work in.

My biggest gripe is the 11th Gens make a lot of noises. My EXL did not have any squeaks, creeks or rattles. My Sport Touring and Type R had a bunch of them, I understand with the Type R since that's a more track focused car, but I found both cars had a lot of interior nuts and bolts that were barely tightened from the factory. I've gone through most of the dash and had to torque most of the 8mm bolts holding the dash and dash frame, taped up some of the harnesses under the dash with cloth tape so they didn't rattle against each other and put sound deadening all over.

Other than that, I'm loving the 11th gen and more than likely the Type R will be my forever car, or until it dies lol

I had a 2020 Si Coupe and now have a '26 Si. The ride is more comfortable and composed, but I do not think the handling feel is as good as the 10th when pushed in corners. It is also not as quick as my Coupe was (both were stock). However, the inside of the 11th is just so much nicer. A little more room and much more upscale materials and look to the 11th inside and out. The infotainment is also leaps and bounds better. I just wish the 11th was available as a coupe.

Eventually, I will get a downpipe and exhaust and get it tuned with a Flashpro to rectify the speed situation. I don't need 300+ horsepower, but another 50 hp and more torque will do the job nicely. I also have my eyes on chassis bracing, RSB, and Silvers-NA coilovers to take care of the handling.

Between the car getting totaled and getting dragged around getting the settlement money I went a whole month between cars, driving mind numbing rentals so I didn't get to go from one straight to the other but I think I would agree on speed and handling. Granted the 11th is supposedly making more power then advertised. I have screen recordings of a few pulls but I don't have a flash pro for this car yet to make comparisons.

I havent had any interior noise yet, how difficult was it to remove the dash pannels? I've seen a video from Hondata where they where pulling stuff apart to install the OBDII jumper harness and it they made it look so easy but I shudder at the thought of pulling off a new panel.

Funny enough when they first debuted the 11th gen I grimaced, I thought it looked so weird compared to the 10th gen but its definitely grown on me, I kinda miss the anime styling but at the same time the new car doesn't have that compact car "squished" look to it either.

2019 Civic Si sedan then to a 2013 Fit 6mt then to (current) 2022 Civic Hatchback Sport Touring 6mt.

The interior and infotainment of the 11th gen is definitely way better than the 10th. The 10th gen carplay would freeze at least once on every drive and compounding that with the rattles within a few weeks of buying it from the dealership new made it a very unpleasant experience, I was happy to get rid of it.

I went in to test drive a used 2022 (last year 2024) Sport Touring 6mt without any expectations and was surprised, I returned the following day and bought it. I had no intentions of buying at the time because I didn't know what I wanted yet t replace the Fit. All I knew was I wanted a hatchback. Then coming from the 10th gen, I told myself I wouldn't get a newer Civic but the 11th gen's test drive surprised me enough (good surprise) that it made me forget about the negative experiences I had with the 10th gen.
