With a large range of exhausts already avaliable I'm finding the decision of choosing an exhaust difficult. I thought a Poll might be useful for those of us still trying to decide.

So many options! Milltek Is our favorite for the following reasons:
  • Ability to maintain the electronic valve
  • Ability to choose the number of resonators desired
  • Ability to choose tip style and finish
  • No drone
Milltek offers an option that suits every build, from the most simple exhaust that screams all the time to a mild solution that gives you extra noise when you want it but won’t drive you (or your neighbors) crazy. :)

As someone who went from a CTR to an ITS I can safely say the exhaust note of the ITS (resonator delete) is hard to beat. Especially for the money.

Is this just the front resonator delete?

Haha, I did think of that after I posted. Let's say yes as it seems to be more common.
Front resonator delete brings it in line with the Integra Type S setup (not including the different mappings) so I'm likely to try this out. I'm mainly concerned with drone but it seems like drone isn't at all noticeable with just the front resonator gone. Both resonators seems like it might be a different story.

Surprisingly the past couple of months the Remark titanium has been flying off our shelves..

Kinda curious to compare Tomei vs the Remark. You get a front pipe with Remark and I think its nicer with flanges vs the slip joints on the Tomei. Both are Titanium for weight. Tomei gets the slightly larger diameter pipes and a lot cheaper. And neither has a valve.

I'd mainly be looking to drop weight so those seems like the most attractive options.

There is no drone with both resonators deleted, especially if you keep your active valve in place.

I feel like the answers are just “what do you have on your FL5?”

Because while I have a resonator delete as well, do most people (it’s winning at the time of this post) really think that sounds better than literally every exhaust listed, including Remus/APEXi/Cobra? ?

On FK8 I've ran straight pipe(no muffler, no res) and it was pretty annoying, and also run no res and stock muffler(FK8 no valve anyway)...pretty drony

I've got a MRT sport touring mid pipe and a P2R Catless downpipe with the valve fully open it’s pretty rowdy up in the higher rpm’s but it sounds damn good.
