I got every part in it except for the PRL intercooler. While I drive to the shop to drop it off for an install appointment, my wife followed me on the drive and asked why I was sticking to the right lane on the highway. "The car is so packed I can't see out the right side - even the side mirror was blocked. I didn't want to have to merge back into the right lane because I would have been blind."

Occasionally, I dog/house sit for my boss and his wife when they go away. One of my tasks is filling the bird feeders. I find myself sitting by the window with a cup of coffee most mornings just watching all the different birds dive in from the trees to grab a bite. Very cool creatures!

Some donation supplies for flood recovery in Central Texas.

I was not directly affected.
I live about 100 miles or so SouthEast of the affected area, in NW San Antonio.
Super blessed, and thankful.
Deja Vu, though, since Harvey was a very close call for me.
At the end of 2019, I moved from Houston to NW San Antonio in order to avoid ever being in range of this kind of crazy Gulf Coast flooding ever again...
It's a small World.
Go figure.

This morning I dropped off my *second*, yes second, set of new forged wheels off at Platinum Auto Films with Chris, at Suite 102, for a fresh ceramic coat.

New MITA Motorsports FKS wheel. No photos of car loaded with wheels because I was feeling guilty this morning. I'm not worthy.

Exactly next door is an environmental disaster recover business, National Catastrophe Resoration Inc., "NCRI", at Suite 103. Platinum Auto occupies Suites 101 and 102. Well, this week, NCRI has its door open to accepting donations for Hill Country and Guadalupe River flood recovery.

The Man Upstairs was making it VERY apparent this morning that He wanted me to step up and do what my sorry excuse as a human could do, and NOW.
So, now with an empty car, feeling fortunate, financially stable, privileged, and guilty conscienced AF, I asked the donation team what they needed.

"Clean-Up supplies like shovels and contractor bags and stuff."

I said, "I'll go pick up some supplies and bring them back here."

So I did.
Stopped at Academy for some folding camping chairs, flashlights, and batteries. Then got some cleanup supplies at Home Depot.

Demo bags in the floor.

Academy bag with flashlights and AAA batteries.
Garbage bin, Gatorade cooler, contractor bags, push broom, sledge hammer, pickaxe.
Inside the garbage bin is also some safety PPE: safety glasses, ear plugs, a pair of ear muffs, and green HiViz vest.

Just kinda wandered around the store before I started to focus and gather useful items.

I don't exactly have "Survivor's Guilt", but what I'm feeling must be very similar.

Take care, y'all.

Good on you, man! What a horrible event. It’s hard to imagine going through something like that, or worse. Most of us have it so much better than we know.

Thanks, @jtlctr .

Yeah, when I saw that garage door open at NCRI, it was like God had come down to Earth, figuratively became Hacksaw Jim Duggan, knocked me over the head with a spiritual 2x4, and yelled:

"Donate some supplies!!! Hoooo!!!"

I wanna let anyone know who is in the NW San Antonio area, if you can help, and want to help, National Catastrophe Restoration Inc. is collecting donations from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. all this week through Thursday, July 10.
They will be driving to the affected area this Friday, July 11, to deliver the donated items.

This probably isn't the "correct" place to post this info.
At this point though, I feel it's better to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission.
