Did they give you an ETA of when they'll arrive? Looking forward to pics and hoping that you don't have to pay any import fees when they arrive.
Hi.
So no ETA yet. MITA is staying in touch with me via email, though.
I had some concerns regarding import customs and MITA answered my questions with this response on June 10th:

Hello [Sporky],

Thank you for your detailed questions. Here’s the breakdown regarding your shipment:

1. We use a freight forwarder based in Hong Kong to optimize shipping costs. For confidentiality reasons, we do not disclose the forwarder’s name.

2. Your shipment will be imported through the Port of Entry in California.

3. Shipping terms for your order are Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). This means all U.S. Customs duties and fees are handled and prepaid on your behalf. You will not need to contact or pay U.S. Customs directly.

4. We provide tracking information; however, tracking updates will only commence once your wheels are unloaded and cleared through customs. There is no tracking available during ocean transit.

5. Once tracking is live, you can monitor shipment progress via the courier’s website. We recommend signing up for tracking alerts directly on the courier’s platform for real-time updates.

Regarding your shipment configuration, all wheels will be shipped together under one tracking number.

Please be patient as the tracking activates post-clearance. Let me know if you need further clarification.

Best regards,

MITA Motorsports

Daaang, nooice! Gotta love a good two tone.

"P...p...p...please suhh, could you show us some angled pho'ohws? Just a few more? Please? We'll sweep your chimney, suhh."

I know, I know, Oliver's getting greedy.

Hello all, I'm back. Apologies for my long hiatus. Been busy, and lazy.

Regarding my MITA Motorsports FKS wheel order, here is the timeline:

* May 7, 2025.
I selected my specification and completed my order on the MITA Motorsports website.

* June 6, 2025.
Received email from MITA that my wheel order was complete, and about to ship ship via a Hong Kong shipping company.

* July 4, 2025.
Received email from MITA informing me that my order had arrived on mainland U.S. soil, and I was provided a Tracking Number for my shipment to be delivered by FedEx.

* July 5, 2025. The very next day,
I received my wheel order in excellent condition. I'm just guessing that the package must have cleared US Customs around June 30 to July 1, and then took a few days to get from California to Texas.

Each wheel was packed into an inner box and an outer box. The faces of the wheels themselves were covered with wheel socks and the wheels were braced inside the box with diagonally angled brittle styrofoam. The lips on the back sides of the wheels were covered with protective film.
A few of the outer boxes had some dent damage, and one had a pretty decent puncture at the top, but there was zero damage to any of the wheels.

The process was expected to take up to 4 months, but took just about 2 months to be completed for me.

Your mileage may vary.

Got wheels and tires on the FL5.

The MITA Motorsports FKS wheel is 18x9.0J ET +45 .

For the tire, I decided to go big this time around, and went with the Pirelli P Zero in a 275/45ZR18.
This puppy is pretty chonky.

The 275/45ZR18 is BIG. It is maybe a little too big.
Probably go with a 40 sidewall next time around.
