Wastegate rattle???

Does anyone ever notice a change sound rattle coming from the engine compartment when you are retarding the engine and it’s DEFINITELY noticeable if you’re in a driveway and have a wall next to you. I’m just curious if a wastegate rattle is a thing or could it be something else. I have no cels or loss of power at WOT. But that sound grinds my gears yo.

My 17 Si didn’t do this and my 21 WRX didn’t do this. Is it broken or is this just how it is? I am still under a factory warranty. No tune. Just a 27won SRI (until they come out with their CAI). My dealer isn’t all super anal with mods and warranty voiding. Either way this sounds like it should be a TSB. Is it?

According to the folks here, it’s normal. I’m not sure if there is a TSB for this.

So what? Honda won’t replace it under warranty if I bring it in for it? Is it even a TSB? Does anyone know?? It’s just getting worse and I like riding with my windows open. I don’t want to roll my windows up and crank my music because of a faulty part. Feel me?
