VOLTEX 4B SWAN NECK GT WING Or TYPE 2 GT WING

Hi all.
I’ve saved enough for a deposit on a Voltex wing but having not seen the in the metal, I’m having a hard time choosing.

I want to go with Voltex as I recently visited Suzuka and loved the town and its people (friendliest in Japan for my money). I also want to go with a time attack look. I like both a lot. The type 2 is slightly cheaper but I think I’m leaning slightly to the swan neck. Just wonder how it looks up close. Any thoughts or considerations appreciated.

I like my type 2. I thought about switching to the swan neck if I could just mount different risers for the swan neck. Apparently the measurements are different. So I’m keeping my type 2 because I do not want to remove the base. It’s on pretty good.

Does the wing work? In terms of top speed, yes. I have adjusted it a few times and top speed at the straights on track changes. Other than that, I can’t really tell because I’m still a novice at the track.

Appearance wise I think it fits the width of the car. Not too aggressive. I like it and it’s been a year with the wing.

I have put my order in for the Voltex 4B Swan neck with the 1560mm length!

I was reading up on their blog post about the swan neck and 4b end plates being optimised for the FL5 and conforming to Japanese regulations - this was the reason why I went with my choice.

To me, the swan neck looks so good, but I guess because Voltex will cost you your first heir and 20 hairs of a Japanese dragon, while probably receiving the part when we get the Harley Davidson Bronx!
