Must be why the price of the FL5 is higher than a Jeep Renegade and/or Buick Rendezvous

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic, but I’ll assume you’re not. Design definitely affects cost, but it’s only 1 factor on a long list of factors. The opposite is also true in that cost affects design. I mean, a designer isn’t going to approach a $20k car design project the same way they would a $100k car.

Funny thing... believe it or not...

I actually kinda like the look of the current Jeep Renegade.
There are, of course, a few things I would change. One of which may be the taillights.

The "X" shape taillights look like Stellantis' attempt at dumbing it down for us "Stoopid Murricans"...

They talk to drivers behind the Renegade all like,

"See the X'es? Don't hit me, bro!"​

Everytime I see those ugly lights I think to myself *it must take a huge Phillips screwdriver to change the bulb*
